Arts and crafts techniques

The technical crafts programs aim to familiarize people with the crafts and to make them able to work in the design and production of original works with a utilitarian, decorative or artistic function by transforming either leather, wood, textiles, metals or any other material.

The natural dyeing trainings were organized in three regions, Algiers, Bejaia and Skikda.

This training emphasizes the fact that the plants and materials used are present in forests and natural environments. The training highlights the value of biodiversity and the use of local products by rural women.

The training was organized in the form of a three-day session comprising a day of theory and a day of practice.

The craftswomen aim to share their experience, develop practical work sessions and capitalize on their action.

A network has been created in Skikda where a great diversity offering several possibilities is found in nature.
